Le dottoresse neuroscienziate Antonella Santuccione Chadha e Maria Teresa Ferretti, co-fondatrici del Women’s Brain Project, parteciperanno all’incontro dedicato alle differenze di sesso e genere nelle neuroscienze, promosso dalla Fondazione Ebri (European Brain Research Institute) in occasione della ricorrenza dalla nascita di Rita Levi-Montalcini, premio Nobel.
L’evento, in programma venerdì 23 aprile, alle ore 18.30, in diretta streaming sulla pagina Facebook della Fondazione EBRI Rita Levi Montalcini, sarà moderato dalla giornalista Viviana Kasam.
Un’occasione per discutere della malattia del cervello e della mente e come possa differire eventualmente tra uomini e donne. Un’occasione per rimuovere la paura e lo stigma che attanaglia il paziente interessato da tali patologie e chi se ne prende cura. Un’occasione per parlare dei progressi della ricerca in continua evoluzione.
Nel contesto verrà presentato il libro delle due neuroscienziate Santuccione-Ferretti, “Una bambina senza testa” (Edizioni Mondo Nuovo – Pescara).
All’incontro prenderanno parte, oltre alle autrici, Antonino Cattaneo (Presidente EBRI – European Brain Research Institute Rita Levi-Montalcini), Viviana Kasam (giornalista e Presidente BrainCircle Italia), Francesca Malerba (Ricercatrice EBRI).
